ABOUT MY PRACTICE
My name is Kim James aka Naki....short for Nana Kim. I received my education and training as a home birth midwife in the early 1980's through New Life School of Midwifery in Austin Texas. I began studying massage in 1987 at Swedish Massage Center in Columbia and am a licensed massage therapist. I specialize in prenatal massage and am certified by Somatic Learning Associates in Pregnancy and Infant Massage Therapy. Although my days of being an active, on-call midwife have passed, my passion for being with women in nurturing and empowering ways lives on. My focus has expanded to women's wellness, perimenopause support and reflection sessions. I've had the good fortune of becoming a mother, midwife, massage therapist, grandmother, and women's herbal medicine educator, in that order. My practice is based in Columbia, Missouri where I have a home office. I am also available for video consultations.

MASSAGE
Massage sessions last 60 to 90 minutes. They are informed by over 30 years of experience in the field of massage therapy. Sessions are guided by your individual needs, drawing on training in Swedish, Myofascial Release, Trager, Thai, and Energetic bodywork.
Cost: 1 hour $75 / 90 min $105
WOMEN'S WELLNESS CONSULTATION
Are you interested in exploring how you can feel healthier naturally? I offer wellness consultations that draw on over 30 years experience as a midwife in addition to being a Women's Herbal Educator certified in 2018 by Aviva Romm, MD author of Botanical Medicine for Women's Health. These visits take into consideration the physical, emotional, cultural and environmental influences on your health and wellness.
Cost: Initial visit $100 / follow up visits based on time needed
REFLECTION SESSION
Taking time for the care of your soul is essential to your well being. These sessions are for women desiring to be true to themselves, reach clarity on an issue or free themselves from limiting beliefs and patterns. I bring the skills of deep listening, gentle reflection and guided self inquiry to help you tap into your wisdom, awareness and self compassion. $75 / 1 hr session
PRENATAL MASSAGE
Ease the discomforts of pregnancy and de-stress with a prenatal massage. This is a wonderful way to connect with your body and practice self-care. Each session will be tailored to your needs with confident, experienced and soothing touch.
Cost: 1 hour $75 / 90 min $105
PREGNANCY AND BIRTH CONSULTATION
Would you like to supplement your prenatal or postpartum care by visiting with an experienced midwife? I offer a unique perspective informed through caring for over 650 families, giving birth primarily at home or in birthing centers. I'm here for you if you would like to discuss how to have a healthier pregnancy, gain insights into low intervention and natural birth, be guided through postpartum recovery or explore birthing options and local resources for pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

PERIMENOPAUSE SUPPORT
Would you like to speak with a woman wisened through facing midlife challenges and by making the passage into menopause? Perimenopause is often a time of both crisis and opportunity. I am here to offer you deep listening, emotional support and suggestions for herbal therapies and lifestyle adjustments that can ease your transition.
